Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct tax interviews with clients, either in-person or virtually, to gather information and provide guidance on tax planning and audit support.
- Identify opportunities to grow business and increase client retention by offering additional products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and complete continuing education requirements to maintain expertise.
- 5+ years of tax experience, with a focus on individual tax returns and tax planning.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, both in-person and virtually.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
- Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
