Job Description

Job Title: Production Specialist

Job Summary:

Central Market Inc is seeking a highly skilled Production Specialist to join our team. As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are produced and delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mix, shape, bake, wrap, and stock products to meet customer demands
  • Ensure quality control of all products before sending to sales floor
  • Maintain sanitation in the department and ensure a clean and safe working environment
  • Maintain organization of back storage, freezer, walk-in, and production area
  • Read and execute daily production list
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as weights, discounts, percentages, and volumes
  • Provide customer service as required, including answering questions and taking orders on the phone
  • Assist in monitoring the quality of goods and monitoring shrink
  • Order and receive products and supplies
  • Maintain transfer records
  • Prep, wrap, price, sell, and stock products continuously
  • Demos, or prepares customer samples for self-serve
  • Provide superlative customer service and use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales

Requirements:

  • Experience with commercial production preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Lift and carry moderate to heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs.)
  • Bend, reach, push, and pull
  • Ability to work overnight and flexible schedules (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
  • Ability to inform customers about ingredients
  • Values diversity
  • Requires 2-5 years of related experience
