Overview
At Turnberry Associates, we are dedicated to hiring individuals who embody friendliness, authenticity, and a caring nature. We are seeking a motivated Front Desk Agent to become a valuable member of our esteemed team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and register guests at the hotel, accommodating requests, adhering to specific instructions, and following established security and credit policies.
- Facilitate guest check-outs in accordance with hotel procedures, managing transactions and posting charges to guest accounts.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accurate bank counts at the start and end of shifts, and resolving any discrepancies.
- Manage hotel reservations, including acceptance, modifications, and cancellations.
- Utilize the hotel’s computer system for various functions, including room selection and blocking for incoming guests, as well as preparing daily reports.
- Respond to hotel emergency situations by following established emergency protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel operations or front desk roles is preferred.
- Experience with Hilton OnQ PMS is advantageous.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including day, night, and overnight shifts, as well as weekends and holidays.
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy periods.
- Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to distinguish various smells and hear moderate noise levels.
