First Shift Temporary Position

The role of the Extrusion Machine Operator at Huff Consulting demands a blend of mechanical aptitude and previous experience in machinery handling. The operator's primary duties involve initiating and fine-tuning the extrusion machinery, overseeing product quality, and implementing necessary modifications to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks regarding color, dimensions, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and fine-tune the extrusion machinery
  • Oversee and assess product quality
  • Replace rolls of completed products
  • Utilize a grinder for preparing scrap materials
  • Conduct changeovers between different production cycles
  • Maintain a tidy work environment
  • Perform routine machine maintenance
  • Guide and train new operator trainees

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in machine operation
  • Knowledge of machine setup, disassembly, and preventive maintenance
  • Preferably, prior experience as an extrusion machine operator
