Position Overview
The Infection Control Administrative Support Specialist plays a vital role in assisting the Infection Prevention Program at Clark County Public Health. This position is primarily responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders while executing a variety of administrative tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of the program.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Infection Prevention Program, ensuring efficient office operations through a thorough understanding of departmental and county protocols.
- Uphold the public health mission by delivering respectful and effective customer service to all clients.
- Engage in continuous professional development and participate in departmental training initiatives.
- Operate independently in daily responsibilities, exercising sound judgment in non-routine situations.

Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in a role emphasizing public interaction, customer service, and general office procedures.
- Proficiency in typing at a minimum speed of 55 words per minute is required.
- Familiarity with modern office technology and practices is essential.

Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of general office practices, specialized functions, and relevant policies.
- Ability to develop and maintain databases, generate reports, and manage information effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in document preparation and editing.
- Proficient in using various computer applications for administrative tasks, including word processing and spreadsheets.
