Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Independent Sales Representative to join our Golf Division team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing your own territory's green grass book of business, customer relationships, and all aspects of the sales process for existing and new accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key partners through consistent communication and regular in-store visits and events
- Complete product training for both in-season and pre-book lines to ensure accounts understand the value proposition and brand differentiation
- Assist accounts with visual merchandising and inventory management
- Manage all pertinent regional trade shows and events within the territory, and participate in national shows and events as needed
- Prospect and open new accounts to support sales growth and align with the brand
- Present opportunities for soft shops or fixtures to create a bigger brand moment, as well as tournament opportunities
- Business Performance Management
- Maintain clear visibility of business performance and provide regular reporting on both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback from accounts
- Culture and Success
- Contribute to the culture and success of Mizzen+Main
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with experience in golf, retail, or sales
- Existing key relationships with golf buyers in your territory
- Required to live in your territory
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, extremely well-organized with strong time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with online Google products (Forms and Docs) is a plus
