About the Role

Are you interested in a position that involves working with advanced semiconductor manufacturing machinery? In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance for onsite installations, repairs, and maintenance of semiconductor systems. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for your responsibilities.

This position necessitates a full-time commitment at your designated work locations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure that equipment operates within factory specifications and standards.
  • Educate clients on the proper use and upkeep of the equipment.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers regarding assigned projects, including installations and significant component replacements.
  • Execute complex repairs and maintenance tasks independently and collaboratively.
  • Offer technical support to clients, addressing inquiries about operational procedures and equipment issues to minimize downtime and foster positive relationships.
  • Monitor and report on equipment performance issues to assist in troubleshooting and maintenance efforts.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of activities and provide regular updates.
  • Conduct training sessions for customer personnel to ensure operational proficiency.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians in the field to diagnose and service equipment.
About You: Skills & Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with the Linux operating system is advantageous for system operation and troubleshooting.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field, specifically in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong mechanical skills and hands-on experience with electronic testing tools are essential.
  • Ability to work independently on equipment while also being a collaborative team player in challenging environments.
  • Additional knowledge in optics, lasers, software, robotics, or precision mechanics is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous customer support experience is beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours is required.
  • Comfort in a cleanroom environment is necessary, including wearing appropriate protective gear.
  • Domestic travel may be necessary, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • This role involves continuous physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted.
  • Must maintain knowledge of safety regulations and be prepared to work in various atmospheric conditions.
  • Travel, both domestic and international, may be part of the job requirements.

Anticipated salary range for this role: $69,300 - $103,770
