As a key member of the Patient Access team, the Admitting Registrar Lead serves as the primary contact for patients upon their arrival. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient admission process, gathering necessary demographic and financial information from patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with patients to collect vital demographic and financial data.
- Establish and maintain patient records, including the assignment of medical record numbers.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of compliance policies and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate independent problem-solving skills to address patient inquiries and issues.
- Secure necessary certifications and referrals from insurance providers as needed.
- Assess patient financial responsibilities and strive to collect payments at the time of service.
- Deliver exceptional service that consistently surpasses patient expectations.
Qualifications:
