Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Sonic Healthcare USA. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and collecting blood samples for laboratory testing.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position working 32.5 hours per week, with a regular schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, and Wednesday from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages
• Collect and prepare non-blood specimens
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
