Job Summary:

Pentastar Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot-in-Command to join our team. As a key member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our Lear 45XR aircraft in a 14 CFR Part 91 business aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers while executing timely operation of the aircraft.
  • Work together with the Second-In-Command to ensure compliance with FAA Regulations.
  • Support and promote a cohesive team environment on the flight deck.
  • Make decisions regarding possible delays, rerouting, or flight cancellations.
  • Perform other general department duties when not flying, including attendance at crew meetings and cabin re-stocking.

Requirements:

  • FAA ATP Certificate with Multi-Engine Rating.
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum of 3000 hours of Total Flight Time.
  • Valid US Passport.
  • Prior experience in a multi-crew environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in aviation or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to accommodate a varied and changing work schedule.
  • Prior Lear 40 series experience preferred.
  • FSI or CAE-trained Lear 45 current and qualified applicants will be highly favored.

Working Conditions:

This position is based at Willow Run Airport (KYIP). The individual selected for this position must live within two hours of the airport. As a pilot for Pentastar Aviation in this role, crew members can expect to fly approximately 275 hours per year with 125 days of annual travel.
