Aramark Healthcare is looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of Clinical Dietitian I at our esteemed healthcare facility.
In this position, you will engage in a vibrant, patient-focused setting, delivering exceptional nutritional care to a varied patient demographic. The Clinical Dietitian will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers, to create and execute tailored nutrition strategies for patients.
About the Facility:
Baylor University Medical Center, a part of Baylor Scott & White Health, is a highly regarded, faith-based, not-for-profit institution located in Dallas, providing care to over 300,000 individuals annually. Established in 1903 with just 25 beds, it has evolved into a significant patient care, educational, and research hub for the Southwest, boasting 914 licensed beds and serving as the flagship hospital of Baylor Scott & White Health in North Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Evaluate patients' nutritional needs and formulate personalized nutrition plans based on their medical background, current health conditions, and specific requirements.
+ Offer education and guidance to patients and their families regarding optimal nutrition, healthy eating practices, and lifestyle modifications.
+ Collaborate with healthcare teams to design and implement clinical guidelines and best practices for nutritional care.
+ Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as necessary.
+ Stay informed about the latest advancements and research in clinical nutrition.
Qualifications:
+ Registered Dietitian (RD) / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification required or the ability to obtain RD / RDN within six months.
+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
+ Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Commitment to assisting patients in achieving optimal health through effective nutrition.
