Position Overview: The Veterinary Liaison/VA in our Emergency and Critical Care department plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and support within our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary communication link between clients, veterinarians, and support personnel.
  • Monitor and document vital signs as necessary.
  • Identify and report any changes in patient condition to the veterinarian.
  • Provide guidance to pet owners, prepare medications, and facilitate patient discharge.
  • Assist support staff as required.

Work Schedule: Flexible shift options are available, including 4-10 hour shifts from Sunday to Wednesday and 3-12 hour shifts from Thursday to Saturday. Note that shift availability may vary.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a veterinary hospital environment is required, with emergency or urgent care experience being advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative setting and a commitment to building long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community.
  • A positive attitude and the capacity to work effectively within a team.

Compensation: The hourly wage ranges from $18 to $23, with potential for a shift differential of $25 to $35 based on specific shifts.
