Job Summary

Grown Folks Social Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring the highest quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create new and innovative menu items that showcase your culinary expertise and appeal to our diverse customer base.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with our established menus, using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients.
  • Inventory Management: Regularly check and inspect inventory levels, ordering supplies in a timely manner to ensure we always have what we need.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and motivate our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food production and quality, making adjustments as needed to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, with a proven track record of success in menu development and food preparation.
  • Culinary Education: A degree in culinary arts or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
