We are seeking a highly skilled Physician, Family Medicine and Research to join our team at Family Health Centers of San Diego. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional healthcare to our patients while also conducting and partnering on original research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide complete medical services to patients while conducting and partnering on original research initiatives.
- Work in collaboration with internal and external collaborators to seek extramural funding to support research portfolio.
- Develop and steward successful grant-funded studies/programs of research.
- Supervise mid-level providers and provide study leadership, including supervision of staff and adherence to human subjects protection requirements.
- Board certified in a Primary Care field.
- Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training.
- DEA license.
- Graduate from an accredited school of medicine.
- Masters in Research preferred.
- Must possess current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California if applicable.
- 1 year experience working in Family Practice required; experience with underserved, low-income persons, or homeless persons preferred.
- Demonstrated record of research dissemination activity, including peer-reviewed publications and scholarly presentations.
- Experience leading research and/or clinical teams in project planning and implementation, as well as data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
We offer a generous compensation and benefits package, including a base salary range of $250,000.00 to $275,000.00, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. Our benefits offerings include a comprehensive health insurance plan, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
