About the Role:

This is a full-time, night shift position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient care conferences with staff to ensure best practices and outcomes
  • Share responsibility for nursing process and outcomes, providing coaching and feedback to staff
  • Encourage staff to provide input and make decisions to improve patient and family care
  • Evaluate department standards for care and scope of practice, redefining them as needed
  • Oversee daily department operations in collaboration with leadership and staff
  • Lead and participate in departmental and hospital programs, committees, and special projects
  • Recognize, respond, and provide follow-up for issues, concerns, and suggestions from patients and staff
  • Assume accountability for daily operations and allocate resources to optimize patient care
Requirements:
  • 3 years of RN experience in an acute care setting
  • BSN degree
  • Registered Nursing License
  • AHA or ARC BLS certification
