Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on the national average for research associates in the United States. This figure may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary

">

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our team in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine's Pulmonary/Critical Care/SleepMed department. The successful candidate will assist in the coordination of research activities, work with a team to support various projects, and perform tasks such as data collection, data entry, and query resolution.

Main Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Manage assigned day-to-day research activities, ensuring all projects are completed in a timely fashion.">
  3. Conduct study-specific subject visits, including consenting, data collection, data entry, and query resolution.">
  4. Perform study procedures as delegated, such as collecting and processing specimens, shipping equipment, and performing EKGs.">
  5. Analyze data, set research standards, and coordinate project requirements.">
  6. Establish strategic objectives for completing projects as assigned and provide input into divisional strategies based on functional expertise.">

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in life science, health professions, or a related field.">
  • At least 3 years of related research experience working with human subjects.">
  • Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite software programs.">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.">
  • Ability to interact with a diverse constituent population.">
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills, along with the ability to work in a dynamic environment and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.">
  • Ability to identify and analyze complex problems requiring in-depth technical knowledge.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.">
  • Ability to travel to off-site locations that may not be accessible via public transportation.">
  • Ability to work evenings/weekends hours as needed.">
