Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our research department, you will play a critical role in coordinating all aspects of clinical trials, from study initiation to completion. Your expertise will ensure the successful execution of studies, contributing to the advancement of retinal medicine and improving patient care.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a thorough understanding of study objectives, protocols, and regulatory requirements to ensure seamless trial execution.
  2. Obtain informed consent from patients and ensure accurate documentation of all processes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring timely resolution and minimal protocol deviations.
  4. Provide guidance to ancillary staff on protocol adherence and action item completion.
  5. Determine required visits and protocol agendas to optimize patient retention and data collection.
  6. Enroll and retain patients in assigned clinical trials, managing client relationships within protocol parameters.
  7. Complete clear, concise documentation of source documents, adhering to SOPs and facilitating accurate data entry.
  8. Communicate proactively with sponsors, CROs, and internal stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution of action items and protocol compliance.
  9. Boost enrollment by informing doctors of study details, competing chart reviews, and utilizing supplemental materials.
Requirements
  • Clinical research experience or a related health science degree (2+ years)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and patient interaction
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
  • Familiarity with FDA/GCP regulations and industry standards
