Job Overview

This Behavioral Health Care Manager position plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating behavioral health services within our Enhanced Care Management (ECM) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing the complex behavioral health needs of our members, ensuring they receive comprehensive, culturally sensitive, and empathetic care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Behavioral Health Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify behavioral health/psychosocial needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide strategic leadership and direction for clinical services, overseeing clinical operations, staff management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Care Coordination: Work closely with the ECM care team to ensure a holistic approach to member care, integrating behavioral health with other medical and social services.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and evaluate member progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
  • Resource Liaison: Facilitate access to necessary services, serving as a key liaison between members, their families, and external behavioral health resources.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must be licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist)
  • Current state licensure and registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
  • 2 years of experience providing direct member services
  • Valid CA Driver's License, clean DMV record & adequate auto insurance
  • Current 1 Aid/CPR certification
  • Must submit to a Department of Justice criminal background check
  • Initial TB employment clearance required
  • Demonstrated experience in behavioral health care management, with a strong foundation in counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, collaborative, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance from the first of the month following or coinciding with your start date
