Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services. As a key member of our Behavioral Support Team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism/developmental delays/challenging behaviors.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for working one-on-one with children, helping them develop social skills, communication skills, and address repetitive or restrictive behaviors. You will also be required to document child progress and milestones, as well as follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with children with special needs
  • Strong communication skills and a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in capacities such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician
