Job Title: Regulatory Legal Intern
Estimated Salary Range: $45.00 per hour, potentially leading to a total annual compensation of up to $95,000 or more, based on a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks per year. This estimate may vary depending on location, experience, and performance.

Job Description:
This internship provides students with the opportunity to cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong professional skills, and gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a top media and technology company. The program includes mentorship opportunities, exposure to various business units, and the chance to work on real-life projects and functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and write on policy and regulatory issues related to technology, media, and telecom (TMT).
  • Conduct legal research, prepare briefing memos, talking points, comment summaries, and other written material.
  • Work with management to determine the impact of federal regulatory actions on the organization.
  • Develop presentations and other written materials on findings.
  • Act as an internal consultant to government affairs teams.

  • Self-starters, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple assignments and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong research and writing skills required.
  • Demonstrated interest in TMT law and policy.

Education and Certification Requirements:
  • Enrolled as a 2L, 3L, or 4L student pursuing a J.D. from a US-based college or university.
  • Returning to degree-program after completing the summer internship.
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program.
  • Able to report in-person to the work location.
