Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Operations Team Lead to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring that our members receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist management in supervising associates and ensuring that they are trained and equipped to provide excellent member service.
  • Communicate goals and feedback to associates, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their performance expectations.
  • Process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, and ensure that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Participate in sales and marketing events, and complete and maintain marketing recaps and other required documentation.
  • Oversee the assigned area of responsibility, including handling claims and returns, zoning the area, and arranging and organizing merchandise.
  • Develop and implement processes and practices to meet business needs, and collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners to achieve this goal.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and assist management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.
  • Lead and participate in teams, using and sharing resources, information, and tools to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • 6 months retail experience, including operating front-end equipment and 6 months customer service experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
