Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Backroom Supervisor to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of products, while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure timely and accurate processing of merchandise.
  • Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the backroom area.
  • Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and procedures, and promote a culture of honesty and integrity.
Requirements
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
