The Retail Operations Leader in Training will be assigned to various locations within a designated area, providing on-site support as needed to assist with staffing challenges. This position serves as a training ground for a future Store Manager role, with the potential for promotion when a Store Manager position becomes available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee store operations by scheduling and assigning tasks to employees, while monitoring work outcomes.
  • Recruit, select, and train store personnel to maintain a competent workforce.
  • Enhance employee performance through coaching, counseling, and performance evaluations.
  • Achieve financial targets by managing expenses effectively.
  • Build relationships with customers to identify their current and future needs.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for both employees and customers.
  • Implement and uphold operational policies and procedures.

Travel Requirements

This position necessitates local travel and may require relocation when opportunities arise.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
  • Previous experience in sales, retail, or inventory management.
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale systems.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of storage solutions, trailers, and automotive accessories.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical capability to lift and manage equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Dependable and trustworthy character.
