Nurse in Pediatric Healthcare Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated nurse to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide direct patient care to our pediatric patients and participate in ongoing professional development.

About the Role

This is a regular, full-time position that requires 12 months of RN experience. We are looking for an individual with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a strong background in pediatrics.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Practice (Caring for the Patient): Perform the nursing process across the continuum to deliver age and developmentally appropriate patient-family-centered care.
  • Development (Fostering Clinical Knowledge): Participate in lifelong learning to maintain knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
  • Engagement (Engaging and Leading Professionally): Provide oversight for nursing care given by unlicensed personnel while retaining accountability for patient care quality.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 12 months of RN experience required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment or at time of offer if working in the Emergency Department.
  • Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
Estimated Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $130,000 per year. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
