Security Operations Specialist

Job Requirements:

  1. Completion of high school education or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.
  2. A minimum of one year of experience in the security sector is essential.
  3. Must possess armed C.L.E.E.T. certification.
  4. Familiarity with law enforcement protocols is required.
  5. Capability to comprehend and adhere to both verbal and written directives.
  6. Effective communication skills are necessary.
Responsibilities:
  1. Conducts regular patrols of the premises and surrounding areas.
  2. Inspects doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
  3. Issues warnings to individuals violating community rules, such as loitering or carrying prohibited items.
  4. Coordinates general security matters with local law enforcement as needed.
  5. Evaluates building equipment as directed by the Security Manager and reports any discrepancies.
  6. Facilitates the escort of emergency vehicles on site.
  7. Completes daily logs detailing unusual incidents, equipment malfunctions, or property damage.
  8. Identifies and reports potentially hazardous conditions.

Maintains a professional demeanor while representing Manor; demonstrates a level of professionalism that aligns with performance standards, behavior, language, and appearance.
  1. Upholds confidentiality and privacy at all times in accordance with policies; exercises discretion when discussing sensitive matters.
  2. Exhibits courteous and cooperative behavior towards members, families, colleagues, supervisors, contractors, and others.
  3. Fosters positive working relationships with management and peers; willingly adheres to instructions and requests as appropriate.
  4. Displays professional standards through appearance and conduct.
  5. Shows a comprehensive understanding of job responsibilities and performs tasks to meet quality and timeliness goals.
  6. Demonstrates knowledge of policies and procedures; seeks clarification from the appropriate supervisor when necessary.
  7. Utilizes tactful and diplomatic communication techniques in all interactions.

  2. Reports any potential safety hazards immediately to the supervisor or appropriate personnel.
  3. Immediately reports any injuries involving members, visitors, or employees to the supervisor or relevant personnel.
