Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity at P2S

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at P2S, an award-winning engineering firm. As a mid-level engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing electrical systems for healthcare and hospital projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-design engineering tasks, including reviewing existing as-built drawings and conducting field investigations.
  • Collaborate with team members to set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines and coordinate design schedules and deliverables.
  • Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules, design lighting selection and controls, and design normal, emergency, and renewable power systems.
  • Perform Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies.
  • Experience with low-voltage building systems, such as Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, and Nurse Call systems, is a plus.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification is a plus.
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, California Building Code, National Electrical Code, and OSHPD/HCAI experience is a plus.
