Sales Territory Manager

Job Description:
The Inside DSM is accountable for managing a sales territory, hiring and developing high-performing inside sales representatives. This role focuses on coaching and developing sales talent, creating a demand generation plan to achieve quota and driving operational excellence with key performance indicators.
This position is responsible for leading the HCM Inside Sales team, achieving corporate objectives and sales quotas within budgeted financial guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business-to-business sales and leadership roles.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the HCM Inside Sales team to achieve corporate objectives and sales quotas
- Manage the achievement of corporate objectives and sales quotas
- Recruit, interview and hire job applicants and conduct performance reviews and coaching
- Initiate, participate in and supervise ongoing training of assigned sales representatives
- Manage daily activities and KPIs of the inside sales team and direct sales staff in meeting or exceeding Paychex corporate goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field
- 4 years of experience in Business to Business Sales as a high performer
- 1+ year of experience in Leadership
- 1+ year of experience in Inside Sales
- 1 year of experience in HCM industry
