Position Overview: The NPI Project Engineer will serve as the technical bridge connecting Research & Development, Packaging Engineering, and Operations to guarantee that manufacturing processes and equipment are capable of efficiently producing new products during the new product development and pilot/scale-up stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and document scale-up processes while recording all operational costs in an NPI system, including but not limited to flammable processing and filling applications.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among all functional teams within the NPI groups.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives from initial concept through quantification to product realization.
  • Enhance line efficiency by reducing labor costs and integrating automated packaging solutions.
  • Manage new product capital projects from initial concept and budgeting through to execution and project closure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Packaging Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Background in Production and Engineering.
  • Experience in Packaging Engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project (MSP).
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles.
  • Commitment to Continuous Improvement practices.
