Key Responsibilities

  • Creation of construction documents for various building types, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Design of HVAC & plumbing systems, including ductwork, piping, and water systems, to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Conducting load calculations and equipment selections to meet client requirements.
  • Collaboration with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Engagement with equipment vendors for system specifications and procurement.
  • Overseeing project management and client meetings to ensure timely completion.
  • Performing construction site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Mentoring engineering and design team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in HVAC/Mechanical system design, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit experience being a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration is preferred.
  • Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification with P.E. eligibility within 1 year is also acceptable.
