About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our Behavioral Health Services team at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality mental health care to our diverse patient population.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with experience in managing daily operations, developing and implementing process monitoring systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with our clinical teams to optimize patient access, streamline workflows, and maintain high-quality care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of Behavioral Health Services across multiple locations
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to integrate and improve service delivery
  • Manage patient access, visit volume, and benchmark standards
  • Develop and implement process monitoring systems and actionable data reports
  • Facilitate interdepartmental communication and address patient concerns
  • Support clinical initiatives and internal referral processes
  • Participate in hiring, training, and supervising staff
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in a related field. Master of Social Work (MSW) preferred
  • Three years managerial experience in a mental health or healthcare setting preferred, or relevant experience
  • Experience in practice management in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations for Article 28 and Article 31 clinics
  • Experience working in Article 31 and Article 28 environments strongly desired
  • Experience working with the LGBT community and those living with HIV and/or mental health concerns preferred
