Position Overview

Role Summary:

As a Support Coordinator II, your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving success within a production setting. You will play a crucial role in fostering skill development and promoting independence among these individuals.

  • Compensation: $18.50 per hour
  • Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Your Impact:

In this role, you will contribute to the well-being of individuals with disabilities through various responsibilities, including:

  • Managing cases to ensure that our services are effectively initiated, delivered, assessed, and communicated both internally and externally.
  • Documenting daily notes, attendance, and work records in our digital system.
  • Providing training and guidance within a production context.
  • Overseeing work activities to ensure safety and promoting independence, integration, and inclusion during work tasks.
  • Maintaining a composed and neutral demeanor when assisting individuals who may exhibit heightened communication styles.
  • Implementing lessons and activities that create opportunities for learning and practicing job-related skills.

Qualifications for Designated Coordinator:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as human services, education, or health, accompanied by one year of full-time experience in direct care services for individuals with disabilities or older adults, or equivalent experience in providing care or education to vulnerable populations.
  2. An associate degree in a related field along with two years of full-time experience in direct care services for individuals with disabilities or older adults, or equivalent experience in providing care or education to vulnerable populations.
  3. A diploma in a relevant field from an accredited institution, combined with three years of full-time experience in direct care services for individuals with disabilities or older adults, or equivalent experience in providing care or education to vulnerable populations.
  4. A minimum of 50 hours of relevant education and training, alongside four years of full-time experience in direct care services for individuals with disabilities or older adults, or equivalent experience in providing care or education to vulnerable populations, under the supervision of a qualified staff member.
