Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse - Medical Mental Health - Full Time Nights. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide proactive, patient-focused care to a unique and diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
  • Take and document all patient history and vital signs.
  • Perform and document all patient history and vital signs, mental health screenings and/or evaluations.
  • Respond to and initiate care for medical and mental health emergencies.
  • Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment.
  • Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement.
  • Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility.
  • Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff.
Requirements

A minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer: disability/veteran.
