Data Analytics Leader for Product Growth

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Leader to join our Data & Analytics team at Justworks. As a key member of our product growth team, you will be responsible for driving business impact through statistical analysis, experimentation, and predictive modeling.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in data science, with experience in machine learning techniques, A/B testing, and experimentation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop experiments, and implement data-driven solutions that optimize key product metrics and drive user engagement, retention, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead end-to-end analytics projects, from defining metrics to analyzing data and delivering insights
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to understand user behavior, identify growth opportunities, and evaluate the effectiveness of new product features
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and product health metrics, ensuring alignment with product and business goals
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to measure the impact of growth initiatives and identify optimization opportunities
  • Build tools and frameworks to improve experimentation and measure incrementality of growth efforts
  • Design and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, predict customer behavior, and unlock opportunities for growth across the customer lifecycle
  • Partner closely with our Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to understand their goals and requirements
  • Present and document key learnings and recommendations to teams in a manner that productively influences decisions
Requirements
  • 7 years minimum of experience as a data scientist or analyst, with a track record of driving business impact through statistical analysis, experimentation, and predictive modeling
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate analyses into actionable strategies
  • Track record of driving business impact through machine learning techniques
  • Proficient in at least one statistical programming language (Python or R)
  • Fluent in SQL
  • Familiarity with a cloud-based data stack (e.g. Snowflake, dbt)

At Justworks, we offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and a generous paid time off policy. Our base wage range for this position is $167,500.00 to $184,250.00 per year.
