Imaging Specialist-Radiation Oncology

As an Imaging Specialist-Radiation Oncology, you will play a critical role in optimizing patient experience and supporting Radiology providers by anticipating and responding to patient needs and requests of the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:- Anticipate and respond to patient needs and requests of the healthcare team.
- Assist technologists/physicians with related modality exam/procedures.
- Support efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services.
- May be required to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED and two years related experience; or an Associate Degree in a healthcare or service-related field.
- Related experience includes an environment requiring multi-tasking, within an administrative/physician's office or retail/service industry.
- Previous medical experience preferred in a hospital or clinic outpatient setting, including knowledge of radiology procedures.
- Successful completion of Clinic Operations approved medical terminology course within 6 months of position start date is required.
- Completion of Basic Life Support training, MRI Safety training, and Safe Patient Handling education are also required based on assignment.
