Job Summary

A nursing opportunity to become part of a diverse and multidisciplinary community radiation oncology team. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will be a patients' advocate, educator, and care-coordinator.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: patient assessment and care, patient education, care coordination, telephone triage, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Must possess a positive attitude, flexibility, excellent assessment/critical thinking skills, ability to work collaboratively, strong interpersonal communication skills, and ability to autonomous decision-making.

Recent acute and/or oncology experience preferred.

Qualifications
Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing.
Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range
$45.96 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Full/Part Time
PT position available, (24 hours, 3 days a week or 48 every 2 weeks) based on unit needs. Primarily Monday- Friday.
