Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Federal Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing computer software to support hardware or technical service products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze system architecture and select appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance.
  • Test and debug related software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline related specifically to computer architecture.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • A minimum of 10 years of related professional experience, including a deep knowledge of C++.
  • Experience with Satellite Operations, TT&C systems, sustainment, or similar experience related to Ops.
  • Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, IntelliJ, or CLion.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of software security principles and best practices, including secure coding and data protection.
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycles.
  • Good technical writing skills.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience developing unit tests for C++ programs written in Google Test.
  • Experience with Kotlin and React.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.
  • Experience with using version control software and process (Git).
  • Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment (Scrum).
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Jira.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
  • Ability to manage and optimize virtual machines and resources.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with cloud-based server management and deployment.
  • Experience with server operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, or Unix.
