Benefits Client Service Representative I

At Paylocity, we're looking for a skilled Benefits Client Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our benefits platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer technical and non-technical support to clients, facilitating their use of benefits.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve benefit questions for clients.
- Research and resolve client issues in a timely manner, drawing resources from internal departments when necessary.
- Provide prompt, courteous service to all external and internal customers.
- Facilitate client meetings and coordinate with internal team members on projects.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter and quick learner, with the ability to exercise independent judgment in setting priorities and workflow.
- Comfortable with heavy client contact and strong attention to detail.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn new software easily.
- Ability to tolerate a busy and sometimes stressful environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Computer skills, including familiarity with web-based applications and MS Office programs.
- Working knowledge of health and welfare benefit concepts and experience with online benefit enrollment products.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, plus two years of related experience with proven skills in customer service.
Soft Skills:
- Multi-tasking, attention to detail, strong communication skills, problem-solving/analytical ability, and ability to work in a team environment.
