Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist Team Lead to join our Recovery Education Center (REC) Team in Waynesville, NC. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the implementation of the REC program, ensuring integrity to the Recovery Education model, and provide leadership, consultation, direction, and guidance to a team of clinicians and peer support specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, treatment, psychiatric rehabilitation, and support services to individuals with a broad range of mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Assist in coordinating care across programs within our organization and with other providers in the community.
  • Develop and implement viable treatment plans, utilizing comprehensive clinical assessments.
  • Lead and manage a team of clinicians and peer support specialists, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor Certification required.
  • 2 years clinical social work experience preferred.
  • LCMHC-S or a different license that includes the certification of qualified supervisor.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Bilingual a plus.
