Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Case Manager to join our team at The GEO Group. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for providing intensive supervision and support to individuals in immigration proceedings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individual service plans for ISAP participants in accordance with state and federal regulations and program requirements.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings with participants to monitor their progress and provide guidance and support.
  • Install and monitor electronic monitoring equipment on participants as necessary.
  • Assist participants with acquiring travel documents and provide translation services as needed.
  • Connect participants with community resources, including transportation, medical, food, shelter, clothing, educational, financial, legal, religious, and other social adjustment or facilitative resources.
  • Supervise participants while in Company offices and establish schedules for participants that include counseling sessions, immigration Court appearances, and access to legal services.
  • Review individual service plans, conduct risk/needs assessments, and write progress reports on a regular basis.
  • Report on program violations in a timely manner and conduct home visits to verify participants' places of residence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field.
  • At least two years of customer service or case management experience, with experience in fields related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or working with multi-cultural clients preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination.
  • United States citizenship required.
  • Must live in the US for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a typical office environment, with some local travel required. The ability to use standard office equipment, bend, stoop, and use hands and fingers to place electronic monitoring equipment on participants is also required.
