Job Overview

NETZSCH Pumps USA is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Coatings Specialist. This role involves applying coatings and finishes to our products in alignment with specific customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and blend coating materials to achieve the desired hue and prepare application equipment, including the maintenance and adjustment of spray guns.
  • Prepare items for coating by performing necessary cleaning and masking procedures.
  • Apply coatings to pumps, components, and support structures.
  • Utilize brushes for detailed application where necessary.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of coatings and products, ensuring they meet customer expectations.
  • Manage inventory and supplies effectively, maintaining the paint supply area in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Support customer needs and adhere to delivery timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure proper care and operation of respiratory equipment as required.
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess a High School Diploma or GED along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience. A passion for working in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work independently on painting assignments is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Preferred experience in industrial coatings.
  • Familiarity with various machinery and hand tools.
  • The capability to read and understand straightforward instructions.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Common sense reasoning to execute instructions and resolve issues.
