We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven individual to become a vital part of our trim and packaging division. The Extract Trim and Packaging Specialist will play a crucial role in executing production strategies in alignment with the company's operational standards. This position involves handling the daily tasks associated with the medical cannabis production cycle.
Key Responsibilities

- Possess fundamental knowledge and the ability to learn about harvesting fresh frozen materials, processing dried and cured products, jarring extracts, labeling, and packaging derivative items.
- Consistently execute daily tasks in the trim and packaging areas, including removing buds from stalks, inspecting buds, hand trimming, maintaining cleanliness, and basic record-keeping.
- Weigh and prepare products for packaging.
- Label jars, boxes, and mylar bags accurately.
- Package products into jars, boxes, and mylar bags efficiently.
- Understand and adhere to state regulations, policies, and procedures, with a commitment to expanding knowledge of the industry and legal requirements.
- Analyze potential issues with plants or products during processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow company standard operating procedures and comply with all safety regulations.
- Learn and implement safe and effective commercial cannabis processing techniques.
- Complete assigned tasks within established timeframes.
- Be willing to undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
- Exhibit the physical capability and health necessary for manual labor tasks required in extraction and cultivation environments.

This position operates within a cGMP inspected manufacturing facility. Employees are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves, coveralls, hairnets, and occasionally face covers. The role may involve extended hours and weekend work opportunities.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to communicate effectively, stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms, and may need to lift items weighing a minimum of 50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time role that typically requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
Travel:
This position does not involve travel.
