The ideal candidate should thrive in a dynamic environment, work collaboratively with various production teams, and be prepared to perform some duties outdoors in varying weather conditions. Experience in fleet management and logistics is advantageous.
Compensation: $26-$28/hr based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate closely with multiple production teams to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
- Communicate effectively throughout the process by tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments.
- Handle incoming shipments accurately, ensuring proper documentation and processing.
- Stage materials safely and prepare items for delivery or storage.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring careful handling and accurate accounting of items.
- Conduct timely deliveries and pick-ups, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock counts and tracking.
- Keep the warehouse environment clean and organized, including restocking supplies.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Delegate responsibilities while collaborating and taking initiative on tasks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in supervising others.
- Physical ability to bend, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy items.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
- Quick problem-solving abilities.
- Previous warehouse experience with a solid understanding of safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Superior time management and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Employment and education will be verified.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Encon is a drug-free workplace and requires post-offer pre-employment drug testing.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working at heights.
Compensation Details: $26-$28/hr plus discretionary quarterly bonus and full benefits including health, 401K match, and discounted gym membership.
