Position Overview: Essex Hotel Management is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent for the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Webster, NY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional guest experiences while contributing to the hotel's financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome guests and manage the registration process, which includes inputting and retrieving information from the system, confirming guest details and room rates, selecting accommodations, and coding electronic keys.
  2. Assist guests during check-out, ensuring accurate billing of rooms and services, processing payments through various methods, and handling currency conversions.
  3. Possess a comprehensive understanding of hotel offerings, including room types, rates, packages, and local attractions, to effectively address guest inquiries.
  4. Utilize upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences and maximize occupancy rates.
  5. Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues in a friendly and efficient manner.
  6. Handle guest complaints with professionalism, conducting necessary research to find satisfactory solutions.
  7. Manage communication by receiving, inputting, and relaying messages to guests.
  8. Collaborate effectively with team members to create a positive work environment.
  9. Exhibit attention to detail and strong computer proficiency.
  10. Be flexible with scheduling, including availability on weekends and holidays.
  11. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous.
