Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with HR personnel to address challenges in benefits management that impact employee attraction and retention.
  • Work alongside brokers and third-party administrators to develop a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Assess the effectiveness of benefits programs to ensure they meet market standards and organizational objectives.
  • Manage various employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans; oversee claims, enrollments, and cancellations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and compliance regulations, recommending updates to policies as necessary.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of benefits and leave of absence programs.
  • Process benefit changes related to new hires, life events, and terminations; ensure timely processing of paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate benefits records; review monthly deductions and reconcile invoices.
  • Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of benefit deductions.
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding eligibility and provisions of benefits; address inquiries and concerns.
  • Manage all benefit-related contracts and ensure timely execution of necessary documentation.
  • Verify calculations of monthly premium statements and maintain relevant statistical data.
  • Design and prepare employee benefits communication materials, including enrollment guides and newsletters.
  • Organize orientation sessions for new employees to explain benefits and assist with paperwork completion.
  • Coordinate wellness programs and related events to promote employee health.
  • Ensure compliance with various regulations including ACA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary compliance forms accurately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required, along with two to three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid Driver's License issued by the State of Oklahoma is also required.

Physical Requirements

This position may require moderate physical effort, including lifting and carrying objects up to 20 pounds. Tasks may involve extended periods at a workstation.
