Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

  • Execute all responsibilities associated with advanced machining tasks.
  • Demonstrate expertise in machining specialized plastics and performing precision work.
  • Handle non-standard setups with proficiency.
  • Operate manual lathes and mills, including single point threading.
  • Understand and apply the fundamentals of cutting techniques, including speeds, feeds, and blade selection.
  • Conduct quality control inspections on machined components.
  • Develop, review, and implement departmental red lines.
  • Provide effective training to team members.
  • Utilize SolidWorks software for 3D solid part file manipulation.
  • Employ Mastercam software effectively.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: 2-year Technical Degree.
  • Manual Machining experience: 5 years preferred.
  • Possess personal machinist tools.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions while adhering to safety protocols.
Physical Requirements

This position is set in a standard manufacturing environment. It requires prolonged periods of standing, with occasional walking, bending, and lifting of up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
