Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the RTE Community of Practice to ensure organizational alignment, learn innovative techniques, and enhance technical and quality practices.

Facilitate continuous improvement within the Agile Release Train (ART) by leading retrospectives and enhancing backlog management, ART reviews, and sprint reviews.

Collaborate with the RTE community to identify strategies that foster better coordination and collaboration across ARTs within the organization.

Oversee the comprehensive preparation and execution of release planning for the ART, ensuring effective coordination of initiatives that span multiple release trains.

Guide the Agile Release Train in adopting and refining Agile methodologies, practices, and mindset.

The Agile Release Coordinator may lead projects impacting the ART that do not necessitate additional work on team backlogs, supporting the execution of the product vision.

Encourage team ownership of their products and processes while promoting commitments and continuous growth.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of relevant experience OR 8 years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years as an Agile Release Coordinator, Scrum Master, or Agile Project/Program Manager.
  • Experience in collaborating and influencing Director-level stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the distinction between being Agile and merely doing Agile.
  • Familiarity with Lean thinking and its implementation.
  • Exhibit servant leadership and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including:
    • Listening and assisting teams in identifying problems and making decisions.
    • Fostering an environment of mutual respect, openness, and courage.
    • Influencing through persuasion rather than authority.
    • Empathizing with team members and thinking beyond daily tasks.
  • Experience in an Agile environment utilizing Scrum, XP, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling models.
  • Preferred qualifications include Agile Certification (A-CSM, PSM, or PMI-ACP), Project Management Professional (PMP), advanced degree in a related field, and SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or other SAFe certifications.
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in leading teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Experience applying Lean Thinking and Systems Thinking in large organizations.
  • Experience with Lean Portfolio Management facilitation at program, portfolio, or executive levels.
