Synechron Inc is seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer specializing in financial services for a long-term contract.

Only W2/full time.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess robust data analytical capabilities, particularly with data stored in Oracle and SQL Server. This role necessitates effective collaboration with onsite leadership and developers, alongside a strong technical foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with various teams to ensure the consistent application of the data model.
  • Coordinate and mentor offshore development team members.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and UNIX.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in PL/SQL, with hands-on shell scripting and Unix/Linux experience.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of data management principles, including database structure, with proficiency in Oracle SQL and standard database query tools.
  • Experience in data analysis and mapping techniques.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence practices, including data architecture, entity relationship planning, dimensional modeling, ETL, OLAP, and analytical reporting is preferred.
  • Experience in database development with Oracle and SQL Server is advantageous.
  • Background in Trading or Banking technology is a plus.
  • Experience in Compliance or Independent Testing is also beneficial.
  • Data Warehouse experience is an added advantage.
