Supply Chain Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Associate to join our team at CarMax. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and maintenance of vehicles on our lot.
Key Responsibilities- Execute processes as defined by work instructions and standardized work to maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities with your team to drive process improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Ensure daily lot maintenance and security of the display areas and work-in-progress zones, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Secure and receive vehicles shipped to CarMax, preparing them for sale and ensuring accurate product status.
- Complete scanning of vehicles to ensure accurate product status and maintain accurate records.
- Perform lot wash and vacuum duties for customer returns and loaner vehicles, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Drive vehicles on and off lot for repairs and storage, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
- Support auctions and other inventory management activities as needed.
- Current driver's license and meet CarMax's DSEPS standards.
- Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Ability to execute processes as defined by work instructions and standardized work.
- Complete Inventory Associate Workstation Certifications and Assigned Workday Learnings.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs.
This role requires working in an indoor and outdoor environment, with potential exposure to noisy and inclement weather conditions. You will be required to walk or stand for extended periods in a high-energy, fast-paced working environment. You will be expected to wear CarMax clothing at all times while working in the store and adhere to all CarMax policies, including Attendance, Asset Protection, Integrity, TAWR, and Standards of Professional Appearance.
This role primarily works in an outdoor environment and may include working at times in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions.
