Supply Chain Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Associate to join our team at CarMax. As a Supply Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily lot maintenance and security tasks to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities to optimize inventory management processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Secure and receive vehicles shipped to CarMax, ensuring accurate product status and compliance with company standards.
- Prep vehicle and title packets for shipping to other locations, maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
- Complete scanning of vehicles to ensure accurate product status, using technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Perform lot wash and vacuum tasks for customer returns and loaner vehicles, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Drive vehicles on and off lot for repairs and storage, adhering to company safety standards and regulations.
- Support auctions and other inventory management activities as needed, working collaboratively with team members to achieve goals.
- Current driver's license and ability to meet CarMax's DSEPS standards.
- Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Ability to execute processes as defined by work instructions and/or standardized work.
- Complete Inventory Associate Workstation Certifications and Assigned Workday Learnings.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs.
This role requires working in an indoor and outdoor environment, with potential exposure to noisy and inclement weather conditions. Flexible work hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays. The ability to walk or stand for extended periods is required, as well as adherence to CarMax's policies and standards.
This position is primarily based in an outdoor environment, with occasional work in noisy and/or inclement weather conditions.
