We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital's 9 West-Medicine Step Down unit. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient care that is safe, competent, and of high quality, incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care and the nursing process.
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills to manage patient care effectively.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prioritize patient care activities, delegating tasks as necessary to ensure efficient care delivery.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, promoting a culture of respect and compassion.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Relevant clinical experience in a step-down unit or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
